The Dance of Two

The Dance of Two

It was a sunny Sunday afternoon as I sat on the chair outside in the garden to read a book with some lovely orchestral music. But then I skipped that to glance at nature and listen to her tunes, the birds chirping a single and the winds with the background score as they rustled through the leaves. It was then that I noticed these two butterflies fluttering around together in synchrony. It was mesmerising to watch them dance amongst the bushes as the light of the sun basked upon them. They often paused away from each other. But always danced together when they continued. They danced on as though there was no tomorrow. It was beautiful—just the two of them.
Dancing away in the sun. It reminded me of how we must live in the moment and appreciate the present as time passes on constantly.
